(#13 and sorry about this abomination of a rug)

So I've been really into a ton of beauty products lately and I thought I would share them with you all! All of these products can be bought at your local Sephora or drugstore and usually I try and mix in high-end and drugstore makeup to keep it more affordable. Plus why spend a ton money on expensive makeup when you can find some great affordable stuff at CVS.

Dorm Room Decor Ideas and Tips ;)

Monday, September 5, 2016

Recently I moved into my new dorm room for my upcoming year at college as a sophmore! Even though going back to school can be a drag because summer has come to a close (ugg) at least I can always look forward to room decor and back to school supplies shopping! However, shopping on a college student budget can be tough. Especially when you want your room to look like one of those extravagant rooms featured in Seventeen magazine. But since that is not always possible (because getting custom made stuff is expensive and your roommate might not want to match with you) there are other ways to find cute and affordable ways to decorate your room.

And So The Adventure Continues: Juno Beach, FL Travel Diary

Wednesday, August 24, 2016

So excited to finally be doing a travel diary on one of my favorite places to travel to! Juno Beach is a place I love coming to as much as I can during the year and truly is my little getaway from the craziness of New York.

So for my last little hurrah before the start of school, my family and I spent 7 beautiful days in Palm Beach where we soaked up the sun, relaxed, and just enjoyed the end of summer :)

Quinoa Chocolate Chip Cookies

Friday, August 19, 2016

As you probably know, if you read my last cooking post, I am obsessed with chocolate chip cookies.  Due to my enormous sweet tooth, I have tried so many different desserts and always find myself coming back to this household favorite. Since I can't resist a good chocolate chip cookie, I am always looking for a way to make them healthier (so I feel less guilty when I scarf down 5 at a time). This is one recipe I found that tastes amazing, and is a little bit healthier than your regular store bought or break and bake cookies (it's a little hard to see the chocolate chips in this picture, but don't worry there in there. And if you are obsessed with chocolate like me, feel free to dump in some extra chocolate chips when your baking :)

Fashion is one of my favorite things to play around with and I find its a great way for me to show case my personality or anything I think is really cute. I like to change up my style a bunch, but for the most part I stick to a few go to pieces. So, I thought I would give you a taste of my style and show you what I've been wearing and loving this summer. A Day in Brooklyn: From an NYC Local

Wednesday, August 10, 2016

With it's unique charm and proximity to the city, Brooklyn has quickly become the hotspot of the young and trendy. Its beautiful views, vibrant artistry, vintage shops, and artisan cafes make it a place that many New Yorkers now call home.

European River Cruise Experience

Friday, August 5, 2016

A lot of people have asked me how I managed to travel to 4 different countries in Europe and visit so many places in such a short amount of time. Well that’s because I took a cruise! This wasn’t your typical ocean cruise to the Caribbean (the ship we took was a river cruise ship and is roughly 1/15h of the size of your regular Royal Carribbean ship).

Europe Haul

Monday, August 1, 2016

An epic trip to Europe is never complete without shopping. Much like the US, Europe has some great finds, and sometimes you find a few unique things that you know would be hard to come across back home.

(FYI--> When I went shopping basically all the main clothing and jewelry stores were having huge summer sales, so most of the stuff I bought ended up being pretty cheap).

Strasbourg, France Travel Diary

Thursday, July 28, 2016

Being that Strasbourg was the first place I had ever visited in France, you guys can probably imagine that I was very excited. I imagined myself strolling down streets lined with stores like Chanel, Hermes, Celine, and Cartier, spending all my time and money shopping in little boutiques and eating at the best bakeries. Unfortunately, this day dream was better suited for a place like Paris rather than Strasbourg, but nevertheless, Strasbourg was a unique experience in itself. The only French city to have switched nationalities multiple times since its founding, Strasbourg is both a French and German city. Despite its conflicting personalities, Strasbourg still manages to have that French charm that everybody looks for when visiting France.

Amsterdam -->Food

Friday, July 22, 2016

Everyone seems to be obsessed with food these days, especially on social media. So I know I couldn't miss out on an opportunity to post about some of the cool places I ate in Amsterdam.

Let me start by saying that this is one European city you won’t have to worry about finding a place to eat. Amsterdam has all sorts of cuisine from Chinese, to Italian, to Thai, to Japanese, to Indian, to American, you name it they got it.

(Be sure to read my previous post to know what I am talking about)

A City of Bicycles: Amsterdam Travel Diary

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

(aren't these flowers gorgeous)

If you read my previous post you would know that I was on my way to Europe and when you are reading this I will have just finished visiting my first city: Amsterdam, The Netherlands!

To be honest, before I started to plan this trip, I never considered visiting Amsterdam. But after hearing: everyone loves Amsterdam, you should go to Amsterdam, and Amsterdam’s so beautiful, I knew I had to go.

The 2 and a half days I spent in Amsterdam were nothing but magical. The city is truly picturesque and reminds me a lot of Venice. Even though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the layout of Venice, there is something special about Amsterdam that makes it different.

What I packed for my trip to Europe

Monday, July 11, 2016

Packing for a trip can be stressful; especially if you are going somewhere far away, will be gone for two weeks, and have no access to a wash machine or wifi.

That will be me in just a few short days as I take my suitcase and pack up my life for two weeks of adventure in Europe.

Although I have been on trips and vacations many times, I have only gone to Europe once and I am beyond excited to be going again. During my first trip to Europe I visited Italy and Spain and the trip was overwhelming, amazing, unbelievable, hot and hectic. I am hoping that this time I am filled with the same emotions and the trip turns out even better.

7 Braided Hairstyles Great For Summer

What you will need:                                                                           What you might need:
Hair elastics                                                                                            Mirror
Bobby pins                                                                                             Hairspray

Hairbrush

Braided Bun:
Take a piece of hair above your ear under your top layer of hair and section it off. Dutch braid that section horizontal all the way to the back of your head. Once you get to the back of your head proceed to normally braid your hair all the way to the end and secure the ends with a bobby pin. Take the rest of your hair, leaving the braid out and twist it into a bun, securing with bobby pins. Then take the braided section, wrap around the bun and pin.

Oreo-stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

Monday, July 4, 2016

4th of July is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. The fireworks, the barbecue, and the dessert. The dessert is definitely the best part and I find that nothing says 4th of July like a platter of chocolate chip cookies and a box of Oreos.

But what if you wanted to take your dessert to the next level? Putting Oreos inside those chocolate chip cookies; now that's something people will remember.

Juno. The Dog or the Beach

Saturday, July 2, 2016

Recently, I welcomed a new member into my family, an adorable old English bulldog named Juno. A few days ago she turned 4 months old and she is the sweetest and goofiest dog you will ever meet.

My family and I named her Juno after the beach where our vacation home in Florida is located. Juno Beach has a special place in our lives and because we don’t live there year round, having our dog Juno with us keeps that second home close by.

Welcome!
